Mobile gaming platform provider Nektan has recently struck a deal with Channel 4 to develop a free bingo game, based on the popular television programme ‘Come Dine With Me‘.

The show follows four individuals as they take turns they prepare a three-course meal in their own home for the other three contestants. After eating, the contestants rate the meal and the dinner-party experience, and the overall winner receives £1,000.

The game will be offered to players in the form of a non-gambling app which can be downloaded and played for free. Additional game credits and special features will also be available for purchase in-game.

The news marks a big year for international business-to-business mobile gaming platform provider, Nektan, and comes after they announced two similar deals with the Sun Newspaper and City A.M. The deal with City A.M. was revealed in January, and was followed in February by the agreement with News UK to launch ‘Sun Play‘ – which is due later this year, and will combine free-to-play skill games alongside a suite of real-money titles targeted at readers of The Sun Newspaper’s print and online formats.

Nektan’s CEO, David Gosen, commented, “We’re thrilled to be able to use the Come Dine With Me brand for this deal which endorses our white label model whereby we provide the technology and gaming experience whilst Channel 4, via its award-winning show Come Dine With Me, provides the brand and the audience.”
